Tarbox
David Tarbox is a London based Artist and Filmmaker.
Born to Northern Irish and British parents, with a family heritage rooted in Belfast mural painting and outsider art, his artwork explores the energy of the city and of music, using the symbols of old school media formats - cassettes, ghetto blasters and 12” record covers.
He works across a variety of mediums, from reworked 2nd hand plates to freestyle paintings, and his latest works are bombed with pens, spray paint and holes.
This is the only type of bombing that is acceptable - his most recent exhibition raised funds for the Sameer Project, and he is always open to collaborations of all kinds.
